Let me tell you what I think about Affiliate marketing is in my way, so here I go. affiliate program is nothing but the process of earning a percentage of commission by selling products of another person or company.
The owner of the product decides the percentage of commission you will get once the product is soled. You will not get any commission unless you sell the product.
I want to make it very clear that the Affiliate program and pay per click both are different. affiliate program has nothing to do with PPC.

First, you have to signup with an affiliate program.
Then you select a product which you would like to promote.
Finally, you shear your unique affiliate link on your website, YouTube, and Social media.
Once the user purchases through your affiliate link, you will get the commission fixed for that product.
But do remember unless someone buys the product you don’t get any commission.

3. The network
The network is nothing but something which is like a mediator between the affiliate/publisher and the merchant/manufacturer of the product. The system acts as a bridge between both during the whole process. The example of affiliate networks are CJ (Commission Junction), ClickBank, Amazon, and Flipkart.
4. The customer/consumer.
The customer/consumer maybe he/she who buys the product online. I don’t think I have to explain more what costumer is to you?
Many companies sell their product online generally offers an affiliate program.
Example: Amazon.com, Flipkart.com, and myntra.com.
So to start first, you will need to select a product you want to promote.
Then you will need to join the affiliate program of that company.
To join any affiliate program, you will need to sign up for the selected program. Your affiliate company will provide you a unique tracking link.
