Realme has unveiled its first smartphone with a quad-camera smartphone in the Indian market. The Realme 5 Pro is a camera-centric device form the company, and it offers fantastic performance with the help of the AI Snapdragon 712 processor. The handset comes with a 6.3 inch full HD Mini drop display, and it is protected by corning gorilla glass three. The main competitors of the device are Redmi Note 7 Pro and Vivo Z1 Pro in the sub- 15k segment.

The Realme 5 Pro is made with a glass at the front and uses the polycarbonate material at the back with new crystal design which gives it a nanometer holographic color with the cutting texture. The Realme 5 Pro comes with a splash-proof design to save the device from regular water spills.

Realme offers two color option to choose from- the crystal blue and the crystal black color. The device build is great, and excellent quality of finishing makes it look like a high-end device.

The handset supports 30-watt VOOC fast charging, but it packs a 20 Watt charger in the box with a battery capacity of 4035mAh with a Type-C port.

Realme 5 Pro bears a 6.3 inches Mini drop display with 90.6% screen to body ratio. It has a full HD resolution of 1080×2340 at a pixel density of 409 PPI with a maximum brightness of 450 nits. The colors are quite punchy, and the viewing angles are excellent. It also has a night mode for eye care while using at night.

The quad-camera setup at the rear of the device helps to shoot photos with excellent quality. The camera consists a 48-megapixel primary sensor + 8-megapixel wide-angle lens + 2-megapixel depth sensor + 2-megapixel macro camera. It comes with phase detection and auto focus feature as well.

The selfie camera is 16 Megapixel sensor which is placed inside the Mini drop notch. The images clicked with the device are of excellent quality.

On the performance front, the device comes with the latest mid-range octa-core chipset, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 AIE processor at 2.3GHz with graphic support of Adreno 616 GPU and has various RAM models to choose from 4GB/6GB/8GB with inbuilt storage variants of 64GB/128GB and  the storage can be expanded via microSD card slot. The Realme 5 Pro supports UFS 2.1 storage standards.

The operating system on the device is Android 9 Pie with it’s custom Color OS 6.0. The Realme 5 Pro has a rear fingerprint scanner, a 3.5 mm audio headphone jack, a USB Type-C port, and all the necessary sensors. It has a dedicated microSD card slot along with 2 SIM card slots.
